Oxalic acid - 150g
- 1-2 work days
Oxalic acid is very suitable for treating against varroa mites because it has a high percentage of mite fatality (up to 97%), does not accumulate in the wax and honey, the varroa mite doesn't become resistant to it and because it is pretty well tolerated by the bees.
Oxalic acid does not penetrate capped brood and it is not only harmful to the varroa mite but also to open brood. Treatment is therefore most effective and the least harmful in a completely broodless period.
